Loaring Physiotherapy Opens - Continuing on with Family Traditions
From one generation to the next, Charlotte Loaring continues on with the family tradition of specializing in sports and business ownership.
If you grew up in Essex County, chances are you've come across the 'Loaring' name before, particularly if you are an avid athlete, sport's fan, or have ties in the construction industry, but an emerging Loaring, new on the Windsor business scene is Charlotte, the granddaughter of Olympic silver medallist John W. Loaring and the daughter of construction mogul G.R. John Loaring - former owner of Loaring Construction.
Charlotte, who is continuing on in both family traditions, recently opened her own business, Loaring Physiotherapy on Howard Avenue in Windsor and has used her family's love of sport and business savvy to build a career of her own. "Sports medicine is a passion of mine", states Charlotte, who after suffering from an injury at the prime of her swimming career, turned to physiotherapy as a way to help other athletes in similar situations. "Ten per cent of our clientele are here for preventative therapy - but we are trying to change that", offers Charlotte , adding that her aim is to teach people techniques to ward off injuries before they have a chance to occur.
The multidisciplinary clinic, which is completely wheelchair accessible is home to a number of medical professionals who specialize in the fields of physiotherapy, diet, kinesiology, massage, acupuncture, and personal training.
